Cookie policy
In short: this website sets no cookies, has no traffic analytics and shows no ads. That is why you do not see a cookie consent banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to recognise you on later visits. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, are covered by the same rules (Law no. 506/2004, Art. 4).
What we keep in your browser
- Name
- theme
- Type
- local storage (not a cookie)
- Purpose
- remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme
- When it appears
- only after you press the theme button in the header
- How long it stays
- until you delete it from the browser
- Who sees it
- nobody — it never leaves your device
This is a setting you ask for yourself, so it needs no consent. It contains no personal data.
The booking form uses no cookies either: what you type is sent only when you press the send button.
External services
On the pages with a map (Surroundings and Contact), the map images are loaded from OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap and Waymarked Trails. Their servers see your IP address when they deliver the images, as any web server does; we do not send them anything else.
Links to Booking.com, Travelminit, WhatsApp, Google Maps and the Amintio album open those services’ own websites, which have their own cookie policies. Nothing is loaded from them until you click.
Fonts and scripts are served from our own server.
How to delete what is stored
In your browser settings, under privacy or site data, you can delete the data stored by this website. The site then simply opens in the light theme again.
Changes
If we ever add visitor statistics or other services that use cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent before they are switched on.
Details about the data sent through the booking form are in the privacy policy.
