How Moșu works
- The apiary, by the house The bee colonies live in Nucșoara, among hay meadows, orchards and the forest at the foot of the Retezat.
- Wildflower The bees forage whatever blooms nearby all summer long, so the taste changes a little from year to year.
- Centrifuged Frames of capped comb are uncapped and spun in a centrifuge; the honey is strained and left to settle.
- It crystallises — that’s normal Natural honey sets over time. To make it runny again, stand the jar in warm — not hot — water.
For large quantities (shops, bakeries, guesthouses) or bee colonies, call Moșu directly.
